  • How to clean your Stemar?
First, unplug your steamer from the wall outlet. According to the users guide, begin by removing the hose attachment at the brass coupling using a wrench and remove the water bottle from the unit. Pour out any remaining water from your unit. To clean the internal parts of your steamer, use extra caution to ensure that you do not damage the components and void the warranty. An acid-based cleaner such as Jiffy Steamer Liquid Cleaner will remove hard water deposits and sediment build-up. Pour the cleaning solution into the water cup of your steamer; this is the location on the steamer base where you normally place the water tank and is located on the inside of the Stemar. Allow the cleaning solution to remain in the unit for 2-3 hours; it is important to remember not to use the unit during this process as it may damage the unit. Pour the cleaning solution out of the steamer; you can do this by tilting the steamer back and forth and pouring the solution out of the water cup area. Rinse the unit thoroughly by flushing with fresh water 2-3 times. If discolored water or residue continues to come from the unit, the above procedure may need to be repeated.
  • How to use Stemar?
Using a steamer is generally a simple task granted you know exactly what purpose you are using it for. For general cleaning and sanitation, the steamer can be used for many different types of surfaces within your home. For cleaning floors, fill the tank with distilled water and simply apply the applicative accessory to the steamer to reach the steam into the area in question and glide the steam in slow strokes as close to the surface as you can get without touching it; the results will be clean and sanitized areas and structures or dead insects if that is the goal.
  • Can you use Stemar for bed bugs?
The steam will need to reach a maximum and sustained temperature of at least 120°F (49°C), preferably 150°F (65°C) for the bugs to die instantly. The great news when it comes to Stemar is that this model reaches temperatures of up to 212°F (100°C) and with nozzles and hoses that can reach into hard-to-reach places, this becomes a non-toxic bed bug killing machine. One great feature about Stemar is that it allows you to push the steam lock switch to provide a continuous flow of steam to badly infested areas. For bed bugs on a mattress and hiding under a box spring, simply use the jet stream nozzle to slowly glide the steam across all areas of the structures. The bugs will be killed instantly once the steam hits them. This same method applies to furniture, including the underside and seams and folds. For bed bugs hiding behind walls or underneath baseboards, use the triangle brush to reach deep into crevices and hard-to-reach corners to kill any bugs that are hiding deep in the wall structures. With some skill, precision, and most of all time, you can completely eradicate bed bugs from your home.

  • What are symptoms of bed bug bites?

The itching and scratching would be the reason one can not enjoy a peaceful sleep at night. 2. Red and Swollen Skin A person that has been bitten by a bug would wake up with some marks on his body. It is very obvious that if blood is sucked out of the body, he/she is bound to get a reddish patch on the skin due to the swelling. Also, the scratching leads to reddening of the skin. By the time you’ve noticed the mark, they would’ve gone further and struck a few times on your body. 4. No Trace of the Culprits One cannot expect to find the bedbugs after it bites.
